Landon’s Battle with Leukemia

SEPTEMBER 18, 2017

2-year-old Landon from Grand Prarie, Alberta, was taken to emergency because he had flu symptoms and fever on and off for a week and very low energy.  After they did blood work it was determined he was anemic and had a very low blood count. They then flew them to Edmonton, Alberta and it was there they determined things were a lot worse than just being anemic. After more blood work and it was determined all 3 types of blood cells were low and abnormal. They diagnosed Landon with leukemia. Landon is undergoing treatments in Edmonton away from home.  Money raised will be going towards living and traveling expenses for the family while away from work at this time to be with Landon.  No baby deserves to go through this campaign was started to relieve one of their many stresses in this difficult time.  This good deed was nominated by Amie Weber of our Kitchener branch.
