Good Deed # 102 of 150 – Damion Carney Lajoie

150 Good Deeds in 150 Days 2017.

Damion Carney Lajoie, Waterloo Region

AUGUST 28, 2017

Damion (4.5 years old) has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. This is treatable with 90% of Full Recovery, 6 months of intense Chemotherapy followed by approximately 3 more years of maintenance chemotherapy.  After the approximate 3.5 years of treatment, Damion is expected to be Leukemia Free and to live a full, long life.  During this time, Damion’s parents Jo Anne and Paul will be bringing him to multiple appointments and even some hospital stays.  They will be missing work.  These cost quickly add up.  A GoFundMe page has been set up to help the family with these costs.  This good deed was nominated by Rob McCauley of our Kitchener branch.
