The Lighthouse Homeless Shelter, Saskatoon, SK

The Lighthouse Supported Living is a non-profit housing provider that offers affordable, long-term supportive, transitional, and emergency housing for men, women, and families in Saskatoon. The Lighthouse sees their core values as essential to thrive in a changing world. The Lighthouse’ values are beliefs that have proven themselves in the past, guide their actions in the present and will lead them into the future. They believe in putting the well-being of the people they serve first and that this core value guides their behaviour and decisions in everything they do. Their core values are more than a moral compass. They believe they are a formula for being an agent of change in our community. This good deed was nominated by Mike Yanz of our Saskatoon branch.
