Good Deed # 36 of 150 – Innisfree House
150 Good Deeds in 150 Days 2017.
Innisfree House, Waterloo Region, ON
MAY 24, 2017
Innisfree House provides comfort, care and closure to patients and their loved ones through the end-of-life journey. Hospice care is aimed at relieving suffering and improving the quality of living and dying for those diagnosed with terminal illness. Those who choose hospice care typically have a life expectancy of three months or less and have made the decision, along with their doctor and family, to replace cure goals with comfort or palliative goals. Innisfree House offers a tranquil alternative to hospitalization for patients whose death is approaching and is about supporting both patients and their loved ones throughout the final stage of the terminal illness. This good deed was nominated by Steve Nafziger of our Kitchener branch.
Weber Supply has made a donation to Innisfree House.
