Family Battling a Brain Tumor, Belleville, ON
SEPTEMBER 6, 2017
In October of 2015, Teresa was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer that had also spread to her Lymph nodes. It was been a rough year and a half, her health went up and down but Teresa would not give up the fight. Over the last 6 months her cancer had been somewhat stable. Although the the tumurs were still there, they were under control from the many chemo and radiation treatments she had. Her health has taken a turn for the worse. The cancer has spread to her brain which has quickly affected her physically. She is currently in hospital where she will stay until they start radiation to try to shrink to tumor to give her more time and ease some of the debilitating symptoms. The prognosis is not looking to good. A GoFundMe page has been created to help her family with financial support through this trying time. This good deed was nominated by Rob McCauley of our Kitchener branch.
