Good Deed # 71 of 150 – Sunrise Therapeutic Learning and Riding Centre
150 Good Deeds in 150 Days 2017.
Sunrise Therapeutic Learning and Riding Centre, Puslinch, Ontario
JULY 13, 2017
Our mission is to develop the full potential of children and adults with special needs and lead them closer to independence through a therapy, recreation, horse riding, life skills and farm related activity. At Sunrise, we strive to foster a welcoming sense of community, to challenge each participant to new levels of personal achievement, and to maintain the highest possible standards of service with respect to safety and industry best practices. All lessons are taught by CanTRA certified instructors, with up to 3 trained volunteers assisting each rider, depending on the rider’s needs. Each lesson is tailored to the rider’s individual therapy goals, interests and abilities program. This good deed was nominated by Kim Clarkson of our Kitchener branch.
